Meeting of Prospectors.

A meeting of the shareholders in the Prospectors' Claim was held on. Saturday evening at the Pacific Hotel.; ;Mr Jackson, of* Tairua, Was in the chair. The results of the trial crushings were commented upon, and after some general discussion on tlio prospects of the mine it was decided to form a company to be called the Tairua . Goldmining Company, with a nominal capital of £5000 in 10,000 shares of 10s each, to be allocated amongst the several shareholders; the company to be formed under the provisions of the Joint Stock Companies Act, 1866. A call was made to defray preliminary expenses, ■ and it was arranged that no part of the capital should' be considered paid up. Mr Geo. S. Graham was appointed secretaiy; to the company, and Mr J.
