Wellington, This day. In the House of Representatives, The Colonial Bank of New Zealand Bill was passed. In reply to Mr. White, the Government said they were informed that the truck system prevailed on the Westland public works, but so far they could not obtain sufficient information to proceed against any party. Mr. Harrison withdraw his motion to constitute in Grey mouth a Harbcr Board. On the motion of Mr. Bradshaw the Government promised, to introduce a bill to regulate the hours of employment of the youth of both sexes in manufacturing establishment!. A bill for amending the Juries Act and exempting firemen from serving on juries was passed. The House rose at ten o'clock.
