RECORD CARGO OF WOOL

Shipment From Timaru Last Month In November two overseas ships visited Timaru and one of *them shipped 18,169 bales of wool which was a record for the port, said the chairman of the Timaru Harbour Board (Mr R. S. Goodman) at a meeting of the Board yesterday. This clearance had eased tile storage position which was still taxed with the accumulation of the war years. In addition to the wool 3938 sacks of seeds had been loaded. With three more overseas vessels expected this month the outlook was encouraging, added Mr Goodman.
