MOB JUSTICE
Greek Collaborators Lynched (7.30 p.m.) ATHENS. Oct. 31. Mobs raided the courtroom at Candia to-day and lynched five prisoners whose trial for collaboration had just been completed. One of I,lie five was sentenced to death, one to life imprisonment, two were given short terms and one was acquitted on all charges of being concerned in the responsibility for the shooting by the Germans of 35 patriots during the occupation of Crete. The mob protested that, the sentences were too light. They hanged Die prisoners and threw the bodies into Hie street
