RETURNING HOME
Service Personnel (N.Z.P.A.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 1. Several ships bringing servicemen will arrive in the Dominion in the next few days. The Wahine, with approximately 600 Air Force personnel from the South Pacific, is due in Wellington next Tuesday. The British aircraft-carrier Empress is due in Wellington from Melbourne on Sunday, carrying 400 naval officers and ratings, and the Matai, with 50 Air Force personnel from the South Pacific, will reach Auckland on Sunday. Another ship due in Auckland on Sunday is the Empire Haig, from Canada with 26 wives and one fiancee of New Zealand airmen, and seven children.
