SOUTHBURN BRANCH Mrs A. Ward presided at the October meeting *of Die Southburn W.D.F U Mrs R. Allan was welcomed as a new member. Sympathy was passed with Mrs Henderson in her serious illness It was decided to send £1 to the Leper Fund. A letter of thanks was received from Private K. Brunton for parcels received. It was carried unanimously that the Divisions and Institutes amalgamate. Competitions resulted: Flowering shrub, Mrs Kinross 1 Mrs Watt 2, Miss M. Ward 3. Narcissi, Miss M. Ward 1, Mrs Kinross 2, Mrs Harrison 3. Polyanthus, Mrs Harrison I, Mrs Watt 2. Mrs Brunton 3.
