FOOD FOR BRITAIN
South African Gift Campaign JOHANNESBURG. Oct. 4. Millions of pounds worth of food will be provided for Britain by a “Thank You Britain” campaign, which is being organised throughout the Union. General Smuts agreed to support the campaign, but stipulated that it must be placed on a rational basis with the efforts of individual towns coordinated.
