BIG INCREASE
London’s Population LONDON, October 2. London’s population increased by 1.700,090 last year, and is still increasing, said Sir Ben Smith (Minister of Food). During September there was a net increase of 50,000 in the Metropolitan police area. At September 22 the population was 6,949,000. Sir Ben Smith revealed these figures when answering a question about the shortage of commodities in London.
