WAR CRIMES
Yugoslav Investigations LONDON, October 2.
The president of the Yugoslav State Commission investigating War Crimes (Dr. Nedekjkovic) described King Peter and the Croat peasant leader, Matchek, as quislings, says the Belgrade correspondent of the Associated Press.
Matchek was guilty of collaborating with Pavelic’s puppet regime under the Nazis. King Peter, after Dr. Subasic and Marshal Broz-Tito reached agreement, received General Mikhailovitch’s Chetniks in London and congratulated them on their successes in Yugoslavia. Dr. Nedekjkovic claimed that the Chetniks, during the German occupation, killed more than 10,000 innocent men and women.
