OVERSEAS MAILS Overseas mails close at the Chief Post Office, Timaru. as under:— AIR MAILS Australia, United Kingdom, Eire and Continent of Europe—Mon., Wed., and Fridays, noon; late fee, 1.10 p.m. Africa, India, Iran. Iraq., Palestine, Syria, China, etc—Mondays and Wednesdays, noon; late fee 1.10 p.m. ‘Fiji, ‘Tonga and ‘Samoa—Every Tuesday, 2 p.m.; late fee. 3.15 p.m. ‘Norfolk Island—Wed. and Fridays, noon; late fee, 1.10-p.m. ‘New Caledonia—Mon., Wed.. Fridays, noon; late fee 1.10 p.m.; Tues, and Thursdays, 2 p.m.; late fee, 1.10 pun. ‘Beyond the Dominion, surface rates of postage apply. Airmail within New Zealand, Id each half-ounce in addition to surface rates of postage. INWARD MAILS DUE TIMARU Trans-Tasman air mails, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.
