PRIME SHEEP SELL WELL A yarding of 65 head of good quality cattle met with steady competition at the Terauka sale yesterday, but values were not up to to rates. The two races of fat sheep included a number of prime heavy ewes. The sale was a buoyant one from start to finish. An overflow yarding of weaner pigs proved too many for the day. and values for medium to small weaners dropped fully 8/- a head. Prices were: Fat Cattle.—Prime steers, £l7/7/6 to £2l/17/6; light to medium. £lO/12/6 to £l5/17/6; prime heifers, £l2/17/6 to £l4/17/6; light to medium, £lo'2/6 to £ll/17 6; prime cows, £l3/2/6 to £l5/7/6; light to medium, £6/7/6 to £8 17 6.

Dairy Cattle. —Springing cows and heifers, £8 to £l2/10/-. Fat Sheep.—Extra prime wethers, 48 10 to 56/4; prime, 42/10 to 46/7; light to medium, 35/10 to 39/1; extra prime ewes, 48/10 to 56/10; prime, 42 10 to 46/7; light to medium, 20/- to 28/10.
