Quota Successes (N.Z.P.A.i WELLINGTON. Oct 2 The change-over in the appeal of national savings from a wartime to a peacetime basis is meeting with a ready response throughout the Dominion, the continued successes recorded in respect of the "group” movement (with regulardeductions from salary or wages) being a gratifying feature of the recent activities. Last week there were 226 quota successes, an increase of three on the previous week's total, and the 20 postal districts all recorded district quota successes. Already 42 places have exceeded their annual quotas for the current financial year, and of the commitment of £8,000,000 from national savings included in the 1945 victory loan, only a little more than £2 000 000 remains to be raised by March 31’
