FOOD CRISIS FACED
South African Drought (7.30 p.m.) CAPETOWN. Sept. 29. /I drought, stated to be the worst' for 80 years, continues unbroken, says the Johannesburg ‘orrespondent of the Associated Press. South African grain stocks are reported to be sufficient only for two months. Cattle are dying in the southern section of the Dominion and in Northern Transvaal. It is officially stated (hat South Africa faces a food crisis if rain does not come soon.
