Supplies for East Indies.—Mr T. Hill "cneral secretary of the New Zealand Waterside Workers Union, states that the national executive unanimously endorsed the stand taken by the Australian Union regarding the .‘hipmen' of supplies which might be used against the Indonesian Republic. The executive also views with alarm the use Of Japanese troops against the Annamites in Saigon, and intends to give full consideration of developments.
