RED CROSS APPEAL

Street Day Raises £lBO Yesterdav the Timaru Centre of the Red Cross' Society made its annual street appeal, and last night, when some returns had still to come in the result was more than £lBO. This is the first time that the street collection has not been conducted in conjunction with a shop day. and the sum was somewhat more than last year's figure.
