SHIPPING PORT OF TIMARU
Karitane Will Discharge Australian Flour Arriving from Adelaide yesterday afternoon, the Karitane berthed at No 1 wharf, where she will begin work this morning. She has 2800 tons of Australian flour for discharge here and at Oamaru as well as other general shipments. There is no cargo for her at Timaru and she will proceed to Oamaru to-morrow. Dunedin Early Karetu, Auckland Early Marie Bakke, Middle East port Early NOTES Leaving Dunedin at noon to-day for Oamaru. the Waipahi will proceed thence to Timaru. She is expected to work this port dn Sunday, loading Nelson and New Plymouth cargo. From Timaru she sails for Lyttelton. The Waipiata left Dunedin yesterday for Bluff and is to clear that port on Tuesday for Timaru. She is bringing Auckland cargo for discharge here and before sailing direct she will load general shipments for Auckland. Shipments from Napier and Gisborne will be discharged by the Wainui, due back here from Dunedin and Oamaru about Thursday. Here she will load for those ports. The Kaikorai is scheduled to leave Sydney on Tuesday for Lyttelton, thence Timaru. Here she will discharge iron and timber as well as other general cargo. At Timaru she will lift general Australian shipments before proceeding to Dunedin and Bluff. Wool, as well as general cargo consigned to the United Kingdom will be taken by the Ilissos, which is set down to leave Port Kembla, N.S.W., about October 13 for Timaru direct. She will be here for three or four days before proceeding to Lyttelton. The Marie Bakke has been delayed and is still at Sydney. She is coming to Timaru direct for a shipment of biscuits consigned to the Middle East.
