American Towels.— ln the House yesterday Mr W. J. Broadfoot (National. Waitomo) gave notice to ask the Minister of Supply why permission had been granted to traders in New Zealand subject, to there being no advertising to sell United States tea towels, tea towelling and hucaback without coupons or permits, while coupons and permits were essential for similar British or Indian goods.
