Townswomen's Guild.—Mrs McAlister presided over the last meeting of the Timaru Townswomen’s Guild and welcomed two new members. The executive members entertained “Aunt Daisy” at afternoon tea. Members were reminded of the birthday party to be held in October. The speaker for the a,-—ting we; pfc. James Winnington, who gave a talk on his exuerienc.es as a prisoner of war.
