French And Annamites Clash (Rec. 11.40 p.m.) LONDON. Sept, 25. The South-east Asia Command comniuniouo says Major-General Gra~;". head of the Allied Control Commission at Saigon, reports that French two days ago took over the guard at police stations and Government buildings from the Annamites. Casualties were light Two French soldiers were killed and lour wounded The Annamite casualties have not yet been reported. British and India' troops were not involved
