HUGE METEORITE
Observed In Victoria (8.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Sept. 25. Southern Victoria was startled earl) to-day by a giant meteorite which swept across the sky with a roar like thunder. The meteorite lit up Ihe landscape like daylight. Residents from Mcllioiirne to Seymour (f. 5 miles away) reported that it crossed Hie sky from north (o south at 1.30 a.m. They said (hr meteorite was a huge red ball with a long blue (ail. It is believed (hat the meteorite tell intact somewhere south of Seymour.
