The State Department is undertaking the disposal of immense quantifies of American snrnlus war property overseas, said the reconversion director, Mr John Snyder, giving evidence before the special Senate committee. He said surpluses included vast piles f supplies such as tyres, trucks and shoes and were most valuable to potential purchasers.
