MILL DESTROYED

No Insurance (N.Z.P.A.) GREYMOUTH, Aug. 25. Fire last evening destroyed Ogilvii and Company’s sawmill at Marsden. T miles from Greymouth. The spread o the flames to the stacks of timber out side the mill was prevented. The mill, which had a daily out pu of about 7000 feet, was built by MessiMoss and Grant, and was taken ove by Mr Ogilvie about 30 rears ago Th building was not insured. Mr W. Ogilvie said that the Marsdei mill was to have been closed and in cornorated in a new mill being buil at Gladstone, vluHi will b'* complete' in approximately two months.
