CRASHED INTO FENCE
Motor-cyclist Killed (N.Z.P.A.) WANGANUI, August 26. When the motor-cycle he was riding crashed into a fence near the foot of Kaitoke Hill, five miles south of Wanganui, on the main highway this afternoon, a young airman stationed at Ohakea received injuries from which he died shortly after admission to the Wanganui Public Hospital. He was Eric John Griffiths, aged 20, whose home address is Dunedin. A pillion rider on the cycle. A. G. Isles, an airman. also stationed at Ohakea. received a severe shaking. The airmen were on their way back to Ohakea when the accident happened.
