SPANISH REGIME
Strong Denunciation (II p.m.) WASHINGTON, Aug. 24. The Washington correspondent cf the “New York Times” says President Truman denounced General Franco in the strongest
language directed by any President toward a friendly State. Asked to elaborate American policy toward Spain in view of Mr Bevins statement that the “Big Three” did not contemplate intervention in Spain, President Truman replied: “We do not like Franco or his Government.”
