CROSS-COUNTRY RUNNING

N.Z. Championships The New Zealand Senior and Junior Cross-country Championships will be conducted at Wingatui to-morrow afternoon by the Otago Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association. The senior event (61 miles) has attracted an entry of 33 runners, and five centres will be represented in the Teams’ Race. There will be 35 competitors in the junior event (3 miles). in which the same five centres will take part in the Teams’ Race. The following are the entries:— Senior Auckland—N. H. Ambler, R. The teams taking part will be Otago University, Canterbury. Victoria, and Auckland University Colleges, and Canterbury and Massey Agricultural Colleges.
