Application Made By Government
(N.Z.P.A.) WELLINGTON. Aug. 15. “Now that the war has finished.” said the Minister of Supply (the Hon. D. J. Sullivan), “it is hoped that further supplies of petrol will be available for civilian use. and the New Zealand Government is taking up the matter at once with the British authorities. Should any immediate measure of success be secured, the small licences recently revoked will be restored.”
