Air-Raid Shelters At Hiroshima (11.20 p.m.) LONDON. August 14 Th? Singapore radio broadcast quoted by a Domei correspondent who recently visited Hiroshima said the city’s air-raid shelters “were strong enough to resist the explosions. He added that, although the destructive power of the atomic bomb must not be underestimated, there was much exaggeration in the American claims.
