Last Saturday’s games resulted: Country 14. Kowhai 8; School and Kiwis drew 7 all. The points at the end of the first round are: Country 4. School and Kiwis 3, Kowhai 2. It was decided to obtain a suitable trophy to be awarded each year to the winning team. So far little interest has been shown by the public. The draw for next Saturday is: Kiwis v. Kowhai. Country v. School.
