WAIMATE PLUNKET NURSE
Appointment Made Service Overseas Miss J. Millar, who recently returned from overseas, has been appointed Plunket Nurse for Waimate district, according to advice received yesterday by the Waimate Plunket Society. Two relieving nurses have been carrying out Plunket duties in the district since the resignation of Nurse M. A. Hopkins, and Miss J. Sanson will continue with the work until the arrival of Miss Millar at the end of the month. Miss Millar, who had experience as a Plunket Nurse before proceeding overseas, is at present taking a refresher course at the Queen Mary and Karitane Hospitals. She will commence her duties in Waimate on August 30.
