Appeal For Clothing
The recent appeal for warm clothing for Europe, made through the Red Cross and Women's Division, met with an excellent response, a large quantity of garments suitable for men, women and' children being forwarded to the Temuka depot.

The engagement is annouced between Johanna May, only daughter of Mr and Mrs V. D. Lunan, 6A Dee Street, Timaru, and Maxwell George (Peter), second son of Mr and the late Mrs V. G. Rudd, “Benopai” Blenheim. Marlborough.
