Library Committee The annual meeting of the Eleanor Howard Tripp Memorial Library Committee was held on Monday. Those present were Mesdames B. Baker, D. Stewart. J. Polhill and B. Ferguson, Messrs D. Stevenson, J. Polhill. O. Scott. O. Coskie, H. Wooding. A Simpson, H. Waller and G. F. Brown A favourable balance-sheet was presented. The secretary, Mrs D. Stewart, reported that 16 new books had been purchased, in addition to the supply obtained from the Country Library Service. Mr Polhill moved a vote of thanks to the chairman. Mrs B. Baker, the seer. tarv. and the assistant-librarian. Mr D Stevenson, for their work during the year. Mrs Polhill moved a special vote of thanks to Mrs Stewart fc" her services as secretary. The officers were re-elected lor the coming year, and the 12 members of tire public present were elected as a committee for 1945-4,..
