It was agreed to select a South Canterbury team, under 18 to play, the selectors to be chosen at the next meeting. Clubs will later be asked to nominate players. The Sydenham Club are to be offered September 8 for the match, which will be played as a cur-tain-raiser to the return match with Ashburton.
