A PARTIAL STRIKE
Members Of Dunedin Fire Brigade 1N.Z.P.A.1 DUNEDIN. July 23. Actins on a resolution which it adopted at its meeting last week when the partial strike instituted by the members of the Dunedin Fire Brigades' Union was discussed, the Metropolitan Fire Board has laid an information against brigadesmen with the object of legal action being taken. It is understood that informations have been laid against approximately 30 persons, one of whom is Mr W. C. McDonnell, secretary of the Union and also a member of the Board. Some of the papers have already been served A decision to do no work other than turning out to fires and the repairing of any breakdown in the fire alarm system until the dispute over an increase in wages was settled was made by members of the Union on June 25. AU attempts since then to reach an agreement have failed
