Problem Of Flooding “I desire to thank you for your letter of May 25 last with reference to flooding at, the Timaru airport." wrote the Hon. B. Roberts on behalf of the Minister of Works (the Hon. R. Semple) in a letter which the Town I Clerk (Mr J. M. Jenkins) received yesterday, "and wish to advise you that the matter is receiving further consideration. more particularly with respect to the functioning cf the Saltwater Creek outlet and any adverse effect the outlet may have upon the aerodrome. I hope to be able to advise you more definitely at. a later date."
