A PERFECT BEER
British Production LONDON, July 6. Britain has produced a beer which never goes flat and muddy and .which is cleaner and purer than ever before. This perfect beer is the result of research carried out by scientists of Birmingham University in collaboration with the United Kingdom Breweries, writes the London “Daily Mail." A number of new devices which have been developed include a plant for “raising” beer from the cellar to the pump which eliminates the possimility of it being served out of condition while maintaining constant high duality. Officials of Gaskell and Chambers, equipment makers, said that some of the devices are a direct result of discoveries made while the firm were making pump equipment for the Admiralty. One of the devices is a machine which will guarantee a lull pint or half-pint everv time it is pulled with no short measure.
