R.A.A.F. Training Units With the cessation of basic aircrew training in Australia, several R.A.A.F training units built under the Empire Air Training Scheme are to be disbanded. The Air Minister 'Mr A. S Drakeford > announced that more schools would close soon. The latest to close is the initial training school at. Sydney. The station will be used solely as-a personnel depot. Secret Trial The Egyptian Military Court decided that the testimony of all the important witnesses at the trial of Hamud Issawy, charged with the murder of Ahmed Maher Pasha, will be given secretly. Hundreds of police guarded the courtroom when the Prime Minister Nokrashy Pasha, and the former Prime Minister, Aly Maher Pasha, arrived for the resumption of the trial. One Division on One Shij The 85.000-ton liner Queen Elizabeth docked in New York with an entire United States Division, the 44th. on board.
