BURIED BY FALL OF EARTH
Fatality At Clay Works (N.Z.P.A.) NELSON. July Buried by a fall of earth from the roof of a shaft in which he was working at T. K. A. Polglase’s clay works at Kaka. Mr Jack Wilfred' Barker, aged 53, later died from his injuries. Mr J. R. Parkins, who was also working in the shaft at the time of the accident, escaped injury and was able to extricate Mr Barker.
