! GOOD PRICES FOR FAT CATTLE i The bulk ot the entry at yesterday's stock sale at St. Andrews comprised fat cattle. About 40 head were offered, the quality being from fair to good. There was a good demand from Waimate and Timaru butchers and prices improved by fully 20 - a heaa i on late rates. Therer were no store or dairy cattle worthy of mention yarded. An increase in the phosphatic fertiliser ration for general topdressme from 28 per cent, to 42 per cent ot former requirements is announced bv the Auckland Fertiliser Merchant Distributors' Association. The oneinal cut was to 40 per cent, and then to 28 per cent., so the new ration represents an increase of nearly ou per cent.
