Okinawa Guerrilla Co«.:mander <7.30 pan.) OKINAWA, July 17. Lieutenant-Colcnel Aoyagi, who commanded all the Japanese guerrillas on Okinawa, has been killed. Aoyagi was trailed to a masterlycamouflaged hideout in the northern mountains. He was betrayed by a tiny wisp of smoke coming from the cabin, which contained enough food and munitions, mostly American, to last, a large group for a year. Aoyagi mobilised the guerrillas after I lie end of organised resistance on Okinawa.
