WORLD MILE RECORD
Swedish Runner (Rec. 7.30 p.m.) MALMA, July 17. The Swedish runner, Gunder Haegg, established a new world record for the mile with the time of 4min I.4sec. Arne Anderson finished second in 4min 2sec. Anderson established a record last year with 4min I.6sec.
