Promotions Announced (N.Z.P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 31. Military appointments and promotions gazetted • to-night include Lieutenant-Colonels J. M. Mitchell and I. L. Bonifant to be colonels (temp, brigadiers); Lieutenant-Colonels T. C. Campbell and D. J. Fontaine to be colonels; Lieutenat-Colonel G. J. O. Stewart to be temporary-colonel while attached to the headquarters of the New Zealand Artillery; LieutenantColonel J. I. Thodey to be temp.-colonel while second in command of an infantry brigade. Temp.-Colonel H. M. Foster, N.Z.S.C., is seconded to the Second N.Z.E.F. for duty on a transport; Lieutenant-Colonel H. H. Parata is appointed commanding officer of a New Zealand armoured regiment vice Lieutenant-Colonel J. M. Elliott, and Lieutenant-Colonel H. V. Donald is appointed commanding officer of a New Zealand battalion.
