Threshing Held Up.— “ The worst season I have ever put in,” was how a threshing mill owner described harvesting operations in Southland when appealing for a mill hand at the sitting of the Armed Forces Appeal Board. He said he had been threshing grain in Southland for 40 years and this year he and Ais team would be engaged right up till Christmas trying to fulfil contracts
