MORALE AFFECTED
R.A.A.F. Men Excluded From War (Rec. 8.15 p.m.) SYDNEY. May 30. The morale of the R.A.A.F. in Australia has suffered through the inability of hundreds of fully trained young men to get into the war against Japan, says a writer in the “Sun.” He adds that senior officers of the training command are concerned at the ill-effects of the idleness and thwarted ambition of enthusiastic young Australians but are themselves powerless to remedy the position. Instead of doing fighting for which I hey enlisted these young men are alleged to be dohw nothing at all at their stations, getting continu us leave which they do not want, fretting at routine jobs and repeating training courses. Several R.A.A.F. training centres have closed down. Others have so few pupils that there is keen competition among instructors ’e eb'a’ii h miota of work
