GOODWILL MESSAGE
R.S.A. To Men In Field (N.Z.P.A.) WELLINGTON, Dee. 22 Sixty thousand members of the New Zealand Returned Services' Association. of whom upwards of onethird are veterans of the present war. have sent greetings to the New Zealand Services in the field. The Dominion president (Mr Jacobs' in a message for publication tn the "N.Z.E.F. Times," expressed disappointment that the hopes expressed for victory and homecoming for this Christmas were not realised, but said that the R.S.A. looked forward with confidence to a re-union at Christmas. 1945. Five years of war was a long, weary period. Mr Jacobs added, but judging by the exploits of the New Zealanders during the last year they were determined that the Division should make a substantial contribution to the complete victory which was now in sight. Mr Jacobs also sent messages to the heads of the three Services
