PIPING AND DANCING
Meeting Of Centre Final arrangements for the annual pipe music and national dancing competitions, to be held over the New Year, were made at a meeting of the South Canterbury Centre of the Piping and Dancing Association. It was decided to conduct a dance on the evening of the competitions in the Scottish Hall. Applications for permits to conduct a competition in national dancing were received from the Temuka A. and P. Association, Mackenize Highland Show and St. Patrick's Sports Committee, Geraldine. The Mackenzie Show Committee also intend to include a competition for pipe music. The Centre decided to grant permits subjest to the rules and regulations of the Association being observed.
