WEATHER SOUTH CANTERBURY FORECAST

UNSETTLED The following is the forecast for South Canterbury issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, for the period ending 5 p.m. to-day:— General Situation. —A depression is moving south-eastward off the North Island, but there is a weak anti-cyclone over the Southern Tasman Sea. : Winds. —Moderate to fresh : southerly winds. Weather.—Cloudy to overcast with some occasional rain; tempe-ratures colder.
