TIMARU SCOTTISH SOCIETY There was a large gathering at the Scottish Society’s monthly concert. The chief, Mr James Kinloch, presided. The concert programme was as follows:—Songs. Mesdames M. G. Paterson and E. D. Mcßae, Misses Ann? Kerr. Daphne Jordan. Mr Alan Shrimpton; vocal duets. Miss Margaret Niall and Mrs C. 8. Marshall; selections and solos, Timaru Harmonica Band; verse speaking choir and elocutionary items. Miss Lyne's pupils; national and fancy dances, Scottish Society’s juveniles and Dorothy Lyne’s pupils; recitation. Dorothy Drew; bagpioe selection, Mr Malcolm Cameron. Senior Chieftain C Loomes moved a vote of thanks to all the artists. The customary dance followed.
