WEATHER SOUTH CANTERBURY FORECAST

TAIB TO FINE The following is the forecast for South Canterbury issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, for the period ending 5 p.m. to-day:—-General Situation. —A cold frost may he expected to reach Timaru during the io&Winds. —Strong north-westerly winds, soon backing to south-westerly, and moderating. Weather. —A shower or two with the wind change, the weather otherwise fair to fine; temperatures becoming colder.
