FAT CATTLE DEARER About 80 head of fat cattle, two races of fat sheep and a few pens of store sheep comprised the total yarding. The majority of the fat cattle penned were of good quality and appreciated fully 10/- a head on recent sales. The entry of fat sheep comprised a number of pens of prime heavy ewes and wethers which met a ready sale, but the lighter and unfinished sorts were hard to quit. A few pens of store sheep sold firm at late rates. Store Sheep.—Ewe lambs, 27/6 to 28/4; medium wether lambs to 20/6; two, four, six and eight-tooth wethers to 27/6.
