SHIPPING PORT OF TIMARU
Coastal Trade WAINUI CLEARS Arriving yesterday morning from Oamaru the Wainui berthed at the south side of No. 2 wharf, from where she lifted shipments for Wellington and Napier. She sailed in the evening for Wellington direct. The next coastal vessel expected at the Port of Timaru is the Waipahi which is now set down to arrive on Sunday. ARRIVAL Thursday. January 13 Wainui. s.s.. 1633 tons (Captain W. H. Millward) from oamaru. union Steam Ship Co. of N.Z. Ltd. DEPARTURE Thursday, January 13 Wainui, sh., for Wellington. The following list of movements oi coastal shipping is compiled in accordance with the advice suppled ty the agents of the different lines:— EXPECTED ARRIVALS Waipahi, Oamaru Jan. 16 Holmglen, Dunedin Jan. 18 Waipiata. Oamaru Early Waimarino, Dunedin Early PROJECTED DEPARTURES Waipahi, Lyttelton Jan. 16 Holmglen, Wellington Jan. 18 Waipiata. Auckland Early Waimarino, Auckland .. .. Early NOTES Loading at Dunedin at present is the Waipahi which will call at Oamaru before arrival here on Sunday. She will lift shipments for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth. Cargo for Wellington and Waikato Heads will be taken by the Holmglen, which is due from Dunedin on Tuesday. Now at Lyttelton the Waipiata will call at Dunedin and Oamaru before arrival here at an early date. She will carry produce for Auckland on her return north. To load at Auckland to-day is the Waimarino which, working south, will call at Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin and Bluff, returning to Dunedin before proceeding north. From Timaru she will take cargo for Auckland at an early date.
